Projects, Projects Projects

Hey all

Exciting times we have picked up Tala and she is now our full-time traveling companion. She's currently lying on her bed chilling. Looks so gorgeous. Cant believe how well behaved she is. She doesnt bark, chew anything, Isnt licking everything doesnt jump up and is perfectly happy to lye down and chill when were climbing and eating hasnt tried begging or anything. Shes been so cute when taking her for walks as she hasnt been out of the rescue center for a few months everything is super new. She learns quick, I got her to sit and
put her paw in my hand then gave her a treat now when ever she is hungry she goes to the same spot and puts her paw in the air!!! Wehn trying to teach her stuff when out she keeps on digging holes and burying her little doggy treats.

We have found out from the vet that she is much younger than we though as she hasnt reached 1 year yet. She is apparently a cross between either a siberian malimu or a alascan husky and a mastin which is a old spanish breed used to protect sheep from wolves and they are mahoosive so we thing she may well grow a bit more, . . .

Been a good last few days have been really good got a good climb in a crazy cave in orihulela around 30 metres high overhanging by 12m. The moves aren't that hard its just getting them all in one go. Played on a 7c+ there so much fun. super long a fairly easy but pumpy section to a knee bar rest to another pumpy section to a cave you can sit in to another super long pumpy section, amazing

Also managed to flash a really nice 7b there thats not quite so long or overhanging but took a mazssive effort to do cheers to jon for putting hte quick draws up and giving me the beta for hte flash.

Also have a.7c+ project at wildside in sella called "El Putpo Lastre" its a tricky start to a 7a ish boulder problem to a bad rest then a high 6 bolder problem then into a 7a route. worked the moves and got them fairly quick, had 2 attempts on friday which ended with long falls from the top of the first crux. feeling super tired i head off, top marks to Ryan glass for sending the same route on his 8th day on it!!!! Have had 2 more attempts on it yesterday (tuesday) managed to fly though the first crux and arrive at the second got nearly through it only to fall 3 moves from easyer ground. 2nd go i got 2 more moves and fell going for the jug that is the end of all the hard moves Exactly the same move as what Jason Fell from.So For the first time ever i have left my draws on the route and will be heading back with Jason on thursday eve in the cool temps for a hopefull send,

Randomly we found a pot bellied pig on the walk back and s shepherd with a load of goats!

We have Met some awesome guys here been climbing with Jayne, Ryan, Jason and Clare + good times in the bar cheers guys for an awesome few days.

Me and jason have been having a play on the small crag oposit where we are parked near the sella refuge theyre super steep around 45 degrees short with a easy start and finnish and a super nails hard boulder problem crux, it feels like working problems onthe woodie in TCA. have been playing on a 7C called "Multigrado" i can do all the moves and have linked it from the bottom to half way through the crux and from the start of the crux to the top, its going to go soon, Its especialy exciting as the last move is a large dyno from a jug backwards around a roof to another jug easyish but super commiting. AAh so many projects. Between me and jason were hopefully going to get a video setup somewhere and video it so hold this space maybe some footage. . .

Lucy has been having an amazing weeks climbing having got her first 6c in very small number of goes and looking super strong through out, then yesterday falling off the last hard moves of a 6c+ thats super bouldery and crimpy. Totaly committed she went for the lead without having linked through the crux when working it!! go girl, we got some super good photos. Lucys going to be posting later so will leave her to select the best ones,

We have been making the most of our rest days in the camp by setting up the slack line and the gym nastic rings + hoola hoop in the woods. been loads of fun but hard work, Jason has been super keen to get on the rings so been working hard on them hopefully it will pay off and not affect the climbing to much.

Anywho im off to shower and chill so adios and speak soon,

Si
